Ghost Chair
As part of my work as a Reiki master, Tarot reader and intuitive psychic, I sometimes do house cleansings. One day I received a booking to undertake a cleansing as someone was selling their home. As it was in a newer housing estate, I merely thought it would be a straight forward matter of clearing the families own energies from the house. I arrived and started cleansing the house using incense and sage. The energy in the house was aligning well and the negativity was easy to dispel, my mood was quite elevated and thought the job was going to be a breeze, there was a bit of stored energy in a few antique items in the house, but that was as challenging as it got. That was until I came to the little girl's room.
She was only a toddler and her room was decorated very nicely in white and pink with all the furniture items being from an antique store. Most of these items were similar in energy to other antiques in the house, but when I began cleansing an old white chair in the corner I got a flash of dark, angry, negative energy. I received the image of an angry old woman telling me to leave her alone, but it was not like an apparition of a lady in the chair, I could not sense her actual presence, the energy was coming from the chair itself! It was like she had left an echo of her negative energy in the chair, this chair was haunted!
After I had finished cleansing the house, I went out to speak to the home owner and discuss what I could feel and I began talking about the antiques throughout the home and in particular the white chair in her daughter's room. She said that her daughter was always naughty - she would play up and throw her toys around - and restless in her room - she generally would not sleep in there. I asked her specifically about the chair and she said that her daughter would not touch it or play in that corner of her room. I advised her to remove the chair from the house and out it into storage or sell it!
I rang her about a month later to do some follow up and check on how the sale of the house was going. She said response had been positive to the 'open for inspection' viewings they had and the estate agent was optimistice that the house would sell for above the asking price. I also asked her about the chair. She told me that they had removed it from the house and her daughter had settled down a bit and started sleeping in her room for most of the night. The chair had been re-housed with another the had been bought by her parents from the same antique centre. Her parents had been getting headaches whilst in their lounge room (where the chairs were situated in their home) and had been more agitated, especially her mother, since the chairs had been put together. I strongly advised her to tell her parents to get rid of the chairs altogether as I felt that, after hearing this, they were definitely haunted!
